According to experts, the best places to swim with whale sharks are located around the islands north of Cancun. It is a must if you come to the Riviera Maya in July, August or early September, as it is the time when they come to the area. The trip begins from Tulum to the port of Cancun where you will go by boat to this incredible adventure. Once in the indicated place, you can jump 2 to 3 times depending on the situation in the area (how many whale sharks there are, the weather, the number of boats and people on board). Whale sharks are approximately 5 to 10 meters long and are totally harmless, you can swim with them following the instructions and precautions that the guides explain at the beginning of the trip.
Finishing the magical visit with these incredible animals, the boat sails to Isla Mujeres in North Beach for approximately 1 hour to taste a fresh and delicious ceviche.
